He argued that the GCC leaders made a statement before the summit started by downgrading their presence below their top leaders (with the exception of two countries). Jafarzadeh said President Obama’s concluding statement of the summit was a clear indication that he was under a lot of pressure by the GCC leaders who wanted some practical measures by the United States to prevent the Iranian regime aggression in the region.
